Ijumo Hayward
Entrepreneur. Creative director. Visual storyteller.
Ijumo Hayward brings together experience in photography, graphic design, creative direction, filmmaking and project leadership. As the founder of Digital Phoenix Enterprises, he connects a clear creative vision with the planning, collaboration and practical execution needed to bring a project to life.
Born in New York City and raised in London, England, and Bermuda, Ijumo developed an international and culturally diverse perspective from an early age. Moving between environments shaped his adaptability, resourcefulness and approach to working with people from different backgrounds.
He attended Warwick Academy in Bermuda and graduated from Wilberforce University. A basketball team captain in both high school and college, he also earned Academic All-American and Student Athlete of the Year honors. Through the university’s tutoring program, he supported fellow student-athletes in English, mathematics, economics, accounting and statistics—experiences that strengthened his ability to lead, communicate and work toward shared goals.
After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, Ijumo established Ijumo Hayward Photography and developed the creative businesses that inform his work today. Digital Phoenix Enterprises brings together Digital Phoenix Design Group, Digital Phoenix Film & Entertainment, Digital Phoenix Entertainment Group and Digital Phoenix Music Group.
His work spans visual identity, photography, promotional design and screen production. On The CLOSET, his contributions included assistant directing, art direction, set design, videography and continuity. His visual work included promotional posters, billboards, DVD artwork and graphic elements used in scene transitions.
Additional credits include Thanksgiving Prep, Living On The Low, The TOP 10 Signs of Down Low Behavior and More… and Signs of Deception. Across these projects, his roles have included writing, co-directing, executive producing, producing, art direction and videography.
Ijumo’s approach is grounded in continual learning and a practical understanding of creative teamwork: articulate the vision, define the responsibilities and guide the work through completion. He brings that same approach to his role as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of MoMo Entertainment & Technologies, LLC, supporting the development of MoMoConnect.
